Why can't I add Yelp to GatherKudos?

Yelp actively punishes any businesses that request reviews from clients, whether you do that via a tool like GatherKudos, a sign in your office, a link in your email, etc.

It does this in two ways: first, it demotes you in search listings on Yelp, meaning your business will no longer appear with your competitors in the top of the search results. 

They will also put a pop-up fraud alert on your profile, alerting visitors that your profile is suspected of fraudulent reviews. 

Why Does Yelp Do This?

Yelp has long taken a hardline approach when it comes to collecting reviews, hiding many positive reviews from view by categorizing them as "not recommended." It also doesn't allow business owners to dispute false reviews.

What Else Can I Do?
