Google Business Profile (GBP) Instructions

Learn how to access your GBP listings and re-claim them

Identify Owners Account for GBP listing

Go to www.google.com/business

Sign in to your Google account if you aren’t already. If you have any claimed Google listings they will be shown on the first screen.

Add DoorGrow as a GBP user 

Instead of giving DoorGrow login credentials to your Google account you can add us as a user to your GBP listing. To do this:

  • Go to www.google.com/business and click into the location listing(s)

  • Click on “Users” in the left navigation

  • A pop up will appear with a list of all the owners and managers of the listing - Click on the icon in the top right hand corner to add a new user

  • Add the email address giselle@doorgrow.com and choose the role “Manager” from the dropdown

If you do not have access to GBP Listing

  • Go to www.google.com/business – Sign in with your primary Google account you want the listing to be associated with

  • Click on the “Blue Plus” icon at the bottom right hand corner to add your business

  • Follow the instructions to find your business listing

  • At the end you will get a message that partially shows the account the listing is claimed under

  • If this is one of your emails, sign into Google.com/business with it and follow the instructions above

If you do not own this email, hit the request access button and submit the request form on the next page. An email will go out the current listing owner asking for access to the account. The owner has 14 days to respond, if there is no response in that time you will automatically be granted access.
